Just curious, do you also need the bored out intake to match the bored throttle body?

If this is for a V6 the main restriction is the neck in the upper intake manifold . A larger throttle body won't give you much if any more horsepower by just increasing the V6 throttle body bore.
There was a special Holly throttle body made for the Duke but AFAIK it only fits the 87-88 engines. They are hard to come by but we see them for sale ever so often. If you are looking for more Duke power see here:

I have a spare V6 low mile Holley TB if anyone wants it for porting to keep down time to a minimum. Who else these days ports the V6 upper intake?

Several years back I read a book on performance tips that was meant to be applied to any intake system, most specifically carbs. I used the knowledge on my Holley and without actually increasing the diameter at the butterfly I streamlined it all the way through and even made a "airfoil" out of the butterfly and thinned the shaft/screws down to what seemed like a safe compromise. The article that I read showed that by feathering the leading and trailing edges of the butterfly it became more "slippery" and also if you were splitting hairs it gave a quicker throttle response. Note that the edges must be feathered on opposite sides - that is front "leading" edge is filed away in such a manner that it will not effect the butterfly in the closed position and same for the trailing edge. Does it help? Who knows, I am sure that there is some benefit as the book that I read from was influenced by trials on race cars running Webers etc. Anyway when I had to smog my Fiero in Ca I took it off, replaced the chip and got it through the DMV inspection but never put it back so if you want it make me an offer on it. I also did do port matching at the time but the manifold is still with the car.

It is hard to say as I think that it did feel more responsive and a bit quicker but I never did any trials. I would guess, and this is only a guess, that it did add some power and maybe knocked some off the 0-60 times. I did a fair amount of street racing with my Fiero and I did well against cars that should have buried me. (I beat a 5.0 Mustang and a Porsche 911 but some of that was being quicker off the line) Often one modification will not help as much as if there are other upgrades to compliment the changes and I had a Hyper-Tech chip and a few other "tricks".
