Fiero 3.4 DOHC Plug and Play swap extravaganza....

For sale are two 96 LQ1 3.4 DOHC V6's and much much more... I'm not leaving fiero's just decided to go with a Turbo High Feature V6 and Saab F40 6spd.

One is a crate engine purchased off Ebay several years ago and kept in storage

Second is a rebuild of a 15K mile 1996 Crate by Ball Engines in Lilburn GA from pff user procarnut. Engine build sheet is available. My plan was to turbo the engine but it had a little too much blow by in the compression test so I chose to pull it and have it professionally rebuilt. Ball engines rebuilds 1000hp LS's to 1000hp 2JZGTEs. I had it rebuilt to accept boost of 13-17psi with appropriate ring gaps but stock compression was left alone to maintain off boost drivability. This is effectively the same build as Matt Hawkins performed to his 400hp LQ1 as well as lesson learned, i.e. SBC cam bearings, oil return porting, etc.. from Steven Snyder on his 220hp /DRIVE featured 88 Formula track car but with additional ARP head studs, balancing and much more, see below...

Build Details
ARP rod bolts
ARP head studs
.30 overbore
hot tanked
Hypereureticiceuretic Sealed power pistons (never could spell it much less say it right in public)
block casting removed to help oil returns.

balanced rotating assembly
SBC cam bearings for Intermediate Shaft
polished crank
5 angle head job
clevite valves

Getrag 282 mounts with dodge truck mounts
Front engine mount with dodge truck mount
Dogbone mount to stock dogbone location
