Hi-

Someone on another automotive forum told me that the Fiero community might be interested in this for a 3800 swap into a Fiero...I have a 1990 Oldsmobile Delta 88 that I unfortunately crashed last year, but the 3800/4T60 powertrain is still good. I personally drove and serviced this car for over 9 years. I did oil changes every 4K and trans fluid and filter changes every 20-30K during that time. I would hate to see this whole thing go to the crusher, when I know the mechanicals have life left in them. The engine is an "LN3" 3800 with port injection, and the trans is a non-electronic 4T60 that was rebuilt at 65K miles when I bought the car. It now has about 160K on it.

The car runs and drives, but it's not road-legal, and it would need to be towed from my property in Philadelphia PA. You must take the whole car, I can't pull the engine here. I do have a clean title in my name. I would basically accept any offer above scrap value...my main goal is to put these good parts to use, rather than to make money. You can see a pic of the car here:

If anyone is interested and wants more detailed pics or information, please post or PM me, and I'll get whatever you need. Thanks!

While they can be swapped into Fieros, the early series 1 3800 N/A engines were never very popular swaps . The power increase doesn't justify the 100 hours of labor that its takes to do a typical swap. 140 HP stock Fiero vs 165 HP series 1 An almost direct bolt in 3.4L 93-95 Camaro Firebird V6 engine replacement will give you about the same power.
