Need a leather shift knob, do not care confition of the leather was long as the plastick and threads are good and a 5 speed getrag shifter assembly. Previous owner hacked it up and i would like one even if it needs rebuilt.

i have a 5spd shifter, i think its from an 88, how can i tell if it is what you need?

The Isuzu and Getrag shifters are interchangeable. The original Getrag shifter was a little sturdier in the bottom bracket assembly, but it doesn't change the functionality.

i can do a black leather black lace shifter for $40 shipped new leather.

I know they are interchangable but wanted to atleast try and keep it the same if i ever needed parts for it so i dont forget. On the black shift knob thanks for the offer but i would like to keep the tan one and was going to have it recovered anyways. Thats why i wanted one thats worn out to recover. Ill keep you in mind though inacse i cant find one else where

which tan are you looking for i can also do black leather with brown/tan stitching.
