I just sold a.set like that for $400. I'm happy, the customer is happy. They are going on a car that worth what, $4000 at most (realistically). Get over it, they are fricking tail lights!
Happy for you.. other including myself have gotten more for sets of these.

Supply and demand. It's the backbone of the US economy.

Definitely not interested, as I just sold an un-needed pair of GT tail lights. They don't fit on a Formula. I also have a one piece fiberglass panel with Corvette tail lights in it that I will soon part with.

Received the tail lights today. Could have been packaged better. Peanuts are alright, but do not use them unless you tape over the holes. ******* The TIAC lens (passenger side) is cracked in the corner. Might be kinda fixable, but not worth what I paid for them. Who did you ship it with? Didn't really see anything on the package.
Wow. I packed them real good. Wrapped each lense in bubble wrap especially on the corners and put a 2 inch thick layer of styrofoam peanuts then put a tone of styrofoam peanuts all around the sides and top and finished with a thick piece of foam on top then marked the box fragile as well. Shipping was usps via Canada post. They were insured too so you can make a claim if you want. This is the third set I have shipped like this without issue. I can also look for a replacement for you.

I didn't think about them messing them up at the border. The one end where the corner was messed up was covered with a very thin sheet of foam, it was not stuffed full of peanuts, and one side of the lenses was up against the side of the box with only the bubble wrap to protect. The box did not appear to be opened since you taped it, but perhaps they opened it from the end which you had not taped because it was already sealed. It came in two boxes which had been taped together in order to be long enough for the lenses. How about looking for a replacement set, while I see what I can do with UPS? The last time I tried the insurance route they told me to get an estimate on how much it would cost to fix the item. Which was very heavy and I was not about to haul it around Western Washington to get estimates. Who would give you an estimate on a lens that obviously cannot be fixed? Also, I never received any notification from UPS that it was on its way, etc. Please provide me with the UPS information so I can talk to them. I have already thrown the box away, but like I said I didn't see any information on it. I looked and didn't see my address anywhere on the box either. The UPS guy must have taken all that with him. The package was delivered while I was out.
I sent you the tracking number last week in a pm. Sounds like they banged the box around as it was packed well took me an hour to pack it all up. The sheet of foam was an inch thick!

While I thought from the get-go that "auctioning" these lights on a forum is a crappy way to treat somewhat of a brotherhood, I will say that I bought a set of GT lights from this seller in the past with absolutely ZERO issues. Mine came across the border just fine and they were just as listed.
Now, I have had packages come across in the past that have obviously been open and/or re-packaged. I just chalked this up to living in different times where this needs to be done. I will also say that this also goes on shipping from state to state in the US as well.
If something is re-packaged and it is damaged, file a claim with the shipper. Between the buyer and the seller's statements, fault will fall on the shipper and they will be forced to take responsibility.
I am going to crawl back into my hole now.

Finally replied to your PM. Will see what I can do with the UPS tracking number. Been swamped and was hoping to just put them on a shelf for a rainy day.
