3800 turbo setup
Ran best of 10.007 and 138.82 MPH at 3130lbs on drag radials with stock heads and ST1 Cam. Spools quickly and is very street friendly. Does require removal of the lower section of the trunk and the charge piping went through part of the upper section as I had it laid out, however with some creativity that could be avoided. Will require a L36 or L26 intake manifold and northstar throttle body, or you can replace the last elbow to adapt to different size throttle body.

Will include:
ZZP powerlog front manifold
Wrapped crossover with heatshield reinstalled on top of wrap
ZZP ported rear manifold with EGR block and modified for 4 bolt outlet to adapter
Custom built stainless turbo adapter from manifold to turbo with wastegate output.
Precision SP6262 turbo with T3 0.82 turbine housing
Extra T3 0.63 turbine housing for quicker spool
Precision 46mm wastegate with springs
Wastegate dump pipe
2 exhaust downpipes, one 4” race pipe with no muffler, one 3” with muffler
Very little power difference between them but much quieter with muffler
Either pipe ends up exiting out right side exhaust notch on GT bumper
Various cold side pipes, couplers, reducers and clamps
Tial Bov with 2 springs
LT1 MAF sensor and silicone elbow with 4” outlet for throttle body
Stainless braided Aeroquip 4an oil pressure lines and external oil filter adapter for turbo
Stainless braided 10an oil drain line and return line to oil pan
Exa-pump scavenge pump and bracket to return turbo oil to engine
Oil pan with return bung welded above oil level.
Air filter

I do not have a good intercooler as mine leaks internally putting water into the airstream. A ebay intercooler with 3” inlet and outlet is cheap and will work or a Precision PT1001 as I was using can be purchased from many sources. Water tank, pump and lines are not included.
Will be working on removing all remaining parts that are still on the car in the next week or so and will supply final pics once everything is off. Pictures of setup can be seen in my photobucket. Feel free to ask questions if interested.

Out of Fiero game. Already sold trans parts, turbo stuff to go, not sure what's going to happen with the rest of the car yet.

I have another chassis sitting here as well, may sell everything or put together a m90 setup for it.

I like how the first picture on your photobucket is a sheared off axle, lol.

Do you think the turbo had much left in it if you had better exhaust, heads, intake? I'm pretty interested in your setup but it's just a bit smaller turbo than I was looking at.

Ported heads and maybe a ST2 cam would have let it breathe a bit more. I am pushing the HP rating of the turbo, but people have made more than I am with them. With better flowing heads, the turbo would be able to move a bit more air, before hitting the wall. Too big of a cam will push the power band up above the range of this turbo and likely perform worse. A turbo like a 6266 a 6466 or even a 6766 would have more capability, while sacrificing some bottom end spool up. 138.82 Mph at 3130 lbs shows 650 dynojet rwhp how much more are you looking to make?

Not necessarily a whole lot more, but I want the turbo to be running efficiently if I turn it up a bit. I've got a forged bottom end, heads and a pretty free flowing exhaust on the table and don't want the turbo to be a restriction. What are you doing with the rest of the motor?

Turbo is easily upgradable at any point if it's not enough for you.

Not sure what I'm doing with engine right now. It's all stock except cam and valve springs really, so not much of anything to part out.

Hoping to pull car rest of the way apart this weekend and get some good pics.
