Thanks guys but I do not need it anymore. I decided to go a different route. I am using an F-body power mirror switch and mounting it in the middle similar to the old one. I purchased a new switch console to make this work.

I just finished using an F-body switch on mine. You can mount the guts of the new switch in the stock switch housing ( they are identical)- you just have to remove a small metal "nut" that holds the 4-way switch part, and re-attach into the old switch plate. When you take the floating switch part off, pay attention to the orientation of the arrows on the back of the switch- they are important!. A little fiddly, but works perfectly.
