When you see the prices Here, the car in the ad is a great buy.

I suspect one of three things has happened...

1) The ad was bogus from the get-go. A relatively low asking price on a vehicle such as this immediately raises a red flag.

2) The ad was legit and the vendor was swamped with responses... and is now re-evaluating the asking price.

3) The ad was legit and the car sold within hours... and the vendor can't be bothered to kill the ad.

The aldino in the add is legit. I talked to her on Sunday.....In fact I am the one that sold the car to her/husband in fall 2011. They are now going through a divorce and selling his toy.

She lives in a remote area and has had many calls, but nobody has showed up. Their is supposed to be a guy coming today who lives 3hrs away.. if he does not take it. I agreed to buy it back from her.

She was going to call back if she did not sell it to him...so far no calls, so I assume it's sold...I did tell her to give my phone number to the new owner if he had any questions...

I wish something like this would turn up in my neck of the woods.

I saw it late last week, and emailed her. She replied:

Too bad I didn't see it a day or two earlier. My dad was here over the weekend, and he's an ASE Master mechanic. I'm in Atlanta, but that would have been worth driving 6 hours to look it. Could have tried to rent a hauler to bring it home.
