I noticed there was no red on the valve covers at all but never noticed the intake.

It does have an '88 y-pipe, so I believe it is an '88 GT. They could have either swapped out the upper intake or the original engine died and they threw in a 2.8 from an earlier year Fiero...who knows?

If all it needs is a cradle then it's not a terrible deal, but there's a good chance the rest of the frame is rusty too.

I have confirmed the rest of the frame is rusty the nuts in the frame that the cradle bolts to are rotted out!

I wonder how bad it is, this would be ideal to use as a base for what I was thinking, a front engine,lsx , c6 transaxle rocket..
as long as the underbody frame isn't totally rust dust..
but 1k is too much for it..
