a friends got 2 Fiero's he wants to sell. a 1984 "Pace Car". The Red/gray Interiors "Not too bad" at all. the outside needs full paint. and it Doesn't Run because of a "bad Timing Gear",(hopefully that's all it is) What is something like that worth ? Duke 2.5 / automatic, been sitting for about 5 years, so who knows about all the rubber/brakes etc. The other is a Non Running, "rough", 1987 2.8 5 speed. Both Located in mid Fla. Need some "realistic" guidelines.
Thanks for the "Input"

There are a lot of variables, location being a good one.

Look on craigslist and look what they are listed for and see how fast they are selling or lowering prices.

I paid 2900 for a really nice 87 GT, just needs paint
I paid 5500 for a rougher condition 88 Gt with the LS4

Just think how much you would pay for a not running, needs a lot of work fiero.

You would be lucky to get $1000 for each of them imho

Good Luck

Hard without pictures or too much of a description, but I'd be hesitant to pay more than $500 for a Fiero that doesn't run.

yea, I figured about 500 tops for a non runner. Is a 1984 pace car with a reg 2.5 duke actually worth more than a 1985 SE ? (which is a Better car) IMO

For the Pace Car, I would look at the price of a fully restored one and go from there. Figure the cost of paint, possible interior work, and rebuilding the motor correctly. Then subtract the difference and make the person an offer. I would say offer him $700 for the car. That will gives you some room to restore the thing and not lose your butt when you sell it.

I paid $400 for my pace car non running. It needed just about everything replaced due to age and a paint job. I paid $4000 for my 88 coupe back in 2000. It was stock with 27,000 miles on it.
