Hey guys I need to get this car sold so I can move onto my next project.

The needs paint but is in perfect mechanical condition.

Here's my CL ad. I'm asking $2200 now and I'm located in Ames, Iowa.

Well you're welcome to come look at it and test drive it if you want. Cash in hand speaks volumes.

Gotta pay off my motorcycle first. If it's still available when tax returns show up, I may be in touch

If it's still around when taxes show up, I'll be in touch. The fact that it's a sunroof car sold me... mine is sunroof, and is the first sunroof car I have ever owned... I like that alot. What's wrong with the paint on it??

The issue with the paint is that it is 30 years old and sun baked lol.

It's still available, and to further elaborate on the paint, the clear-coat is shot on the top half of the car. However, the paint on the wing (I repainted this because it was blue when I got the car) and the lower half is still quite good.

Just as a matter of interest... the 5-spd swap is an Isuzu?

I recognized the Isuzu 5-spd in the posted image, but I just wanted to make the clarification for anyone interested who may not be familiar with it and/or a Getrag 5-spd.

Yes, it has the isuzu 5 speed.

For an engine that has around 160hp and not being as torquey down low as the 3800 I figured this would make a for a good trans for the 3.4PR, so that it can get good mpg and still be reliable.
