looking for a cheap but working 1987 2.8 alternator... or a 1988 & any connectors/wires that are needed to use on a 1987 car. my alt is bad so i just need one to get it going.

what other popular cars use the same alt as the fieros?

Its a pretty standard and you should be able to still get them at most parts stores

thaks but i think you read that too fast... he is selling the "alternator & ignition cooling tubes" not the alt itself, just the tubes.

If you want one CHEAP you've got to find one locally as private residential shipping rates on these can run about $25-30.

i am looking locally too, not too many used ones. called a junkyard & they said $40 if i pull it.. its -1 degree here so thats not going to happen any time soon. $50 for them to pull. if someone had one laying around for $15-20 + ~$10 shipping it would be worth it & i can install in a heated garage. if not might try a cheap reman for about $60.

the alternator should fit in a medium flat rate USPS box & ship for about $10-$11 anywhere in the US. or under $15 via fedex/ups.
