My driver's door latch is super worn out (the actual mechanism inside the door itself, which clamps over the striker bolt.) The rubber bushings over the strike parts have completely worn through and fallen off, and I have to put several layers of electrical tape over the strike bolt to provide the right cushion and clearance for it to close right. The metal has worn through quite a bit also. Does anyone have a good latch I could buy for a reasonable price? (Or advice on how to recondition them?)
