I got my Fiero back today from the shop with the TH440 transmission in it. My speedometer is not working because I need a Fiero compatible governor assembly for the TH440. Going to try to find one locally; however, I'm reaching out to the Fiero community for help.

Here is some information on the swap with pictures of what I need:

From talking with my mechanic, I need the housing (governor cover), governor, and sensor. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I may have found the parts. If they are right, I'll post part numbers and where I got them from should anyone else go through this.

I received the governor assembly and put it quickly onto my transmission tonight. I was glad to see the part fit. I ordered the parts from http://www.txchange.com. I paid $40 for the parts and $14.72 for UPS shipping to South Carolina. Their part number for the governor assembly is RK84410.

I can't seem to find that part on their website. Did they give you that part number over the phone?

Once your trans swap is finished, it would be neat if you could tell us if your speedometer reading is correct, or if it's off by a few mph and needs to be adjusted.
