Hey all. I'm looking for the flange and gasket that is bolted to the exhaust manifold flange from a 2001 Buick 3800 SC. If you have one or know where I can purchase one with part numbers, please let me know. Many thanks in advance.

If you get one of those flanges, you will have to add a flex pipe to the exhaust. Not hard, just buy a small one. add it in before the first bend. The stock 3800 exhaust flange is on the downpipe of many 3800 cars and does not have to be an SC car.

Like this or whatever size you need.

Thanks guys. I didn't know that I needed that flex pipe. Why is that flex pipe needed ? I'll check my email for the pics.

the flex is only needed if you are NOT using the stock 3800 downpipe that has a spring built into it.

that ebay one looks nice. but I have my 1st bend real close to the flange part, the more straight it sticks out the more of a chance of it hitting the back of the trunk wall.

To be honest with you Revin, I don't even know what the stock downpipe looks like. All I have is the 2 exhaust mainfolds and the crossover p'ipe that connects the two exhaust manifolds. I'm debating on changing the exhaust manifold gaskets but need the gaskets for each end of the crossover pipe. I have no idea where the guy I purchased the engine from put them. Everything was in a large plastic tote. Any recommendations on a brand of gaskets to use ? for the price of the gaskets I would rather replace them and know that there will be no leaks once the engine is in.
