A pretty trivial part, but since my ashtray flips open every time I make a right turn... looking for the wire spring that puts tension on the ash tray doors to hold them closed/open. Passenger side tray, if this matters.

I would think a spring assortment from the "Help!" Brand (dorman) may have a spring that is the same size . Even a mom and pop hardware store may be able to help. Bring in the drivers side spring and have them match it.
Just an idea...

I heard you could use a paper clip even. Let us know what you find. Mine need changing. I might try if I knew a spring that would work. Good Luck!!!

Thanks, I'll check out the parts stores and see what's out there, and report back here.

I've tried shipping these in regular envelopes to people and they never make it.
