I'm selling my Mecham scoops. These are the original urethane scoops made for the Fiero, not the fiberglass knock-offs. I bought them from Eric Mecham and they've been sitting in my garage waiting to go on my car. The car has been sold, so now I'm selling them. I'm not sacrificing these, I know what they're worth, so I'll be posting them up on eBay tomorrow. I'll post a link to the auction after I get them listed. I'm willing to ship them at the buyer's expense.

I'll take offers but keep in mind I'm looking to get as much as I can for these. Im not even acknowledging any offer under $500, so please don't throw any at me. I anticipate these will go somewhere between $700 - $1,000+. Pics will be in the Ebay auction. Thanks

Michael

Last set I saw for sale was a few years back. Ausfiero had them and wanted $600. Haven't seen a set since.

WOW what a great price!
I bet you have hundreds of people wanting these!
They look so nice I would not put them on a car but frame them and put on a wall for all to see.

Just like my car, these aren't going to be for everyone. People that spend extra money on their cars to have something unique and with quality in mind are the ones that are considering buying these. These aren't going to crack and have to be repaired (unless of course you're in a collision) like fiberglass would. They're flexible just like the Fiero body panels, and are bolt on parts, no need for finishing. Just have them painted to match your car and install them. I don't think another set of these will surface any time soon.

Funny you should mention about another set because I also own a set of these that have never been installed on a car yet, but I have 3 Fieros so you never know I may just put them on. I agree they are nice and flexable. Good Luck on your sale

Thanks. I figured there might be at least a couple of hoarders who might have a set of these. Just like NOS tail light lenses, they're out there but getting someone to let them go is another matter. I paid $600 for my NOS tail lenses in 2010 I believe. Got the last set that Fiero Parts had. I saw a USED set of tails go for $1k+ on eBay recently. With the community shrinking and vendors disappearing, even some of the reproduction parts are getting scarce now. Hopefully these Mechams will find a good home soon.

This auction ends in a couple of hours. They'll auto-relist if they don't sell. The price will stay the same. $250 starting bid is a steal for these. I paid considerably more. Either way, I'm not terribly concerned if they don't sell first time. A lot of custom pieces sit until the right person comes along.

I received a couple of offers after the auction ended. Since it relisted automatically and there was more than one person saying they wanted them the auction will move forward. Here is the relisting.

Just a word of advice, bid before there's only a minute left guys. =)

Looking rather familiar. Close to 20 people watching. Only a couple days left. You have to bid to win them.

Ends today. Over 20 people watching, we'll see if it's a repeat of last time. They auto-relist one more time if no one bids.

They are SOLD and were paid for, but I'm not sure if the purchaser is a forum member or not. Just have the Firebird interior to sell now...

Wasn't me. I was the first bid, third and fifth. I topped out at 270.02. I figured they would go for around $400, maybe $500 for that one person, which would have been me if I didn't already have a (used) set. They would have been for my 87GT, which I am not supposed to be buying parts for until my 88 is done, so thanks to those who bid more than me.
