While surfing a local auction website, I found a beautiful maroon 1988 6 cylinder for sale. Only 55k miles and TONS of pics! As of 10:50PM eastern time, the price is only $1,800. However, the auction ends Wednesday night at 7:00pm... it will probably go up a bit.

The car is in Columbus, Ohio! (see pic in next post)

If I'm crazy enough to bid on this, would you help me get it transported to Maine? How far are you from Columbus?

The fine print............

13% Premium (10% if cash/check)

"Staggered Closing" & "Dynamic Closing"..... never heard of these gimmicks. I understand it, just not sure what the purpose is???

There was a flurry of bidding from $1750 in the last minutes. Sold for $2450 + premium. For the apparent condition and low mileage I would say that was a bargain for a Formula seeker. If that had been anywhere near me I might have pulled the trigger on that one.

Sorry I did not check on this for the past 24 hours. Would not have been able to transport

I noted the fine print. Looks like the buyer who paid $2450 ended up paying close to $3,000 with fees and taxes. Still a pretty good buy.

I had to share this.
Yay Fiero!
