I've got an automatic 87 GT with a blown head gasket and who knows what else. I'm looking for a good running 2.8 to replace it with that will last it a while longer. Not looking to pour a lot of money into the project... preferably looking for local but willing to pay shipping for a particularly good engine. If you've got a decent 2.8 to part with, send PMs please!

Was looking for someone closer that could use this motor. Next week its going to the junk yard for scrape if no one wants it. The motor ran very smooth and have video of it running, before it was pulled.

I know shipping would be outrageous. I tried to ship a shortblock to utah a few years ago and ups wanted 1800 just to ship it! I got quotes from a few other places but it was still 3-400 or a little more if I remember correctly.
