I am thinking about selling my project car that I have been working on for the last 5 years. Here is a list of what it has in it and approximately what I spent:

-BMW (needs new tires) 500
-Brand new windshield 200
-new shocks and struts 200
-new powder coated front cross member 190
-powder coated cradle, control arms front and back
-poly bushings all around 100
-1987 corvette brake upgrade front and pack. The front spindles were switched to the corvair hubs to change them over to 5 x 120mm bolt pattern. The rear knuckles are from a transport mini van and have been bored out to fit s10 bearings which are also 5 x120mm bolt pattern. (this includes the rotors, calipers, machine work to hubs, knuckles, uprights  and to make the brackets) 2500+
-SS brake lines 100
-front mount battery tray 50
-S10 rear wheel bearings new 100
-brand new FIERO store side markers with LED's installed 200
-low mileage 3800 with gen v supercharger 600
-4t65e HD trans 400
-custom SS trans lines 100
-custom ac lines 100
-purple riegn engine mounts 300
-3.2 sc pulley 50
-1.9 rockers 299 (from zzp)
-#105 springs, zzp modified retainers, valve locks, new valve seals, and comp cams hardened push rods ~400
-addco front 1" and rear 7/8" sway bars 150
-Fieroflyer 3800 wiring harness and ECM. 400
-reconditioned headlight motors 180
-f1f low profile dual headlights wired up and working perfectly 400
-new corvette MC 50
-s10 brake booster 100
-custom exhaust (flowmaster, cat and corvette tips). Spent around 500
-FIERO warehouse side scoops 250
-russ88TTop sun visors and other interior fabric ?
-new outer dew wipes (FIERO store) 100
-low mileage 87 FIERO GT (last I remember it was under 70K) 2500
-rd lowering front ball joints 50
-held motorsports rear coil overs 150
-rd rear deck lid strut 50
-north star throttle body and adapter ~250
-corvette MAP 50
-cone air filter 50
-new fuel pump 100
-auto dimming mirror 50
-aftermarket steering wheel 120
-champion aluminum 3 core radiator 100
-new FIERO store coolant overflow tank 20
-brand new rd rear ball joints ~50
-new front tie rods and joints (not sure if the rears are called the same but those are new as well) 150
-rear wheel spacers 50
-custom made axils (all new parts) 200
-front aero license plate bracket 35
-brand new and working e brake setup 150

Here is what it will still need:

-suspension aligned
-paint job
-bugs worked out of the electronic cruise control
-when started the car throws a few codes. I cannot remember which ones.
-windshield weather strip installed
-essentially the car will need to be gone back over just to check if everything was tightened down.

This is all I can think of for the moment. I will try and get some pictures up here soon. Just trying to get time. I am looking to get $6000. Keep in mind I have over $13k in parts and well over that in the time I spent working on this car. Send me a pm if interested or if there are any questions. Just wanted to add I WILL NOT PART THE CAR OUT. Forgot to add, car in located in South Whitley Indiana.

Thanks Jonathon.

Good luck with the sale, sounds like it must be a great car, can't wait to see pics.

If you don't mind, how many miles were on your motor that you bought for $600?
My buddy and his dad have a Series II with 39k miles, found here, for $1,250. I'm prepared to offer him $1,000 cash but I am wondering if even that is too high.

Thanks, and good luck!

Prices depend on where you are located and how far you are willing to travel. I was lucky to be located in the middle of no where and there are a lot of random mom and pop junkyards. I would suggest keep looking.

Bump. The car is pretty much done and has a lot of extras. Make an offer and we can negotiate from there.

Thanks Jonathon.

$5000 or best offer. When you see what the car has and all the extras you know it will be worth it and then some. You could part it out and sell everything for more than 10k. Just wanting to buy my soon to be wife a ring.

Thanks Jonathon.

You need to get some pics of the car posted for us. It's going to be hard you sell a car with no pictures.

I'm in Noblesville... Is it reliable as a daily driver? How many miles were on the donor motor and tranny? Ever take it to the Clermont track (Lucas Oil Raceway? (any time slips, or dyno #'s?). I'm interested, but have a few modified Fiero's I'll be listing on Ebay. After checking it out, I could discuss a cash offer in person.

Thanks,
Greg
