It will look like this. and is supposed to replace the muffler.

I was talking to a member, I believe his s/n was RamesesPride?
I think he got banned from here, but before he did, I was talking to him about me purchasing a muffler delete
piping system he was going to sell to the pff members who were interested.

the bottom line is inward flow, and the two lines splitting off at the top are flowing out to the little bit of pipe the tips are welded to.

Check with a performance exhaust installer who dynamax or magna flow. They may have a y-pipe transition in stock OR summit.

basically* yes, thats what im looking for, its gotta be a little wider than the stock muffler though, so the pieces of pipe the exhaust tips are on can be installed and adjusted to fit correctly.

IRM used to sell a system like that. I had one.
Unfortunately, they are no longer in production.

If nothing else... free bump.

It is a direct fit. Cut the pipe tight at the muffler and
slip this over the pipes.

Steve

This is my prototype I made and never tried. I made a
jig to get the right length and bends.

okay, so... what do you want for it? I'd like to have one.
no emissions here in florida, and the length of pipe will keep everything quiet enough.

EDIT: A friend of mine wants one for his fiero too. so you have two customers, we both would like a price though.

I have that exact system. The fit is actually really good. My only hang up was trying to hang the tail pipes. And im still searching for tips. But the car sounds so mean.

how about something like this, not sure what diameter you want but this one is 2.5" stainless and you could use an adapter to neck it down.

That magnaflow "T" pipe is the ONLY one like it that is made from what I could find. I just went through the same search for my car and ended up using that one. It's costly but it's well-made and there are really no other options unless you make one yourself.

i can build these.. they are easily made.. the only problem is that it would have to be welded on because i have no way of expanding pipe to make it slip fit..
this is a system i made for my 88 when it still had the 2.8 in it.. i made the y with the inlet and outlet the same dementions as the muffler so i could use the factory tailpipes..
