Need to Move this, UPDATED LOWER PRICE 5/29/12

$3000 FIRM!! I need to pay for a wedding!

1986 Pontiac Fiero GT 4 Speed/ 111,xxx miles

I have decided to sell my Fiero, I have owned this one since September of 2005. I have done many things since then but have not driven it much since. I bought this after I wrecked my 85GT and swapped the drivetrain and all the suspension onto this one to make it my driver. Drove it with 2.8 for a few months then started a tear down for initially a turbo 3400 with ported iron heads. Scraped the idea after a while and decided that I would go with a turbo 3.4DOHC instead. I complete the swap in probably in 2009 but I was having clutch issues. I replaced the Quartmaster twin disc clutch setup for a simpler ClutchNet designed for Camaro. This is pretty much the WCF 9 11/16 clutch setup without paying a WCF premium. Since then I haven’t had any drivability issues.
The car is probably around 85-90% done I would say. The main things that would need finished would be, most importantly tuning. I had Darth burn me a starter chip so that it runs/drives. Normal driving is perfect, WOT/ power enrich is where it gets bad, AFR’s drop extremely rich. I haven’t messed with it and I would recommend have it professionally tuned.
It currently has a 3” downpipe that I fabbed up that it can follow the stock exhaust routing. It only has the downpipe, so one would need fabbed up, plenty of room to run a cat and a muffler.

The interior is far from perfect and could use some going over.

Needs a windshield.

Gas gauge is sketchy.

Needs e-cables put in. I modified the stock handle to it can clear the doorbar.

Body is kinda rough but is far from the worst I have seen, probably a 5/10, hood is boogered up and a bunch of other small issues.

With all that said, I am ready to sell. I have moved on and have no reason to keep the car. I am looking to get $5,000 OR BEST OFFER… SERIOUSLY, MAKE ME AN OFFER!
Here is the mod list, most likely missing some things.

Engine:
94 3.4DOHC motor, was a jasper rebuilt when I pulled it. It was rebuilt again before I put it in the Fiero, all new bearings/seals/rings.
ARP Main studs
ARP rod bolts
ARP headstuds
Sealed power Hypereutectic pistons
Reconditioned rods
Balanced bottom end
Ported heads, polished combustion chambers, valve spring shims
96/97 intake manifold
4 speed 3.62 trans

Turbo setup:
Garrett 60-1 Ball bearing .83 T-3 hot side, ported/anti surge compressor housing
Tial 38mm wastegate, has a 14.7psi spring in it
3” in/out air to water intercooler, HUGE heat exchanger up front
52lb/hr injectors, Corvette fuel pump

Suspension/brakes:
KYB shocks/struts, 350# coilover springs in rear
88 cradle, HMS rod end suspension links
Suspension Technique front springs
Corvette 12” rotors, 88 calipers in front
Vented rotors, 88 caliper rotors in rear
Stainless lines front and rear
ADR 17x7 wheels, NEW 235/40/17 Federal 959 RS tires in rear
Addco swaybars
Poly bushings in the front
RD lowering ball joints

Other:
Doug Chase 4pt roll cage with doorbars
Corbeau clubman seats
Zeitronics WBo2,EGT, boost/vac gauge
Rodney Dickman shifter
I wanted to end this by saying that I am typing this without the car in front of me so this is the best I can remember at this moment. Ask any questions and the car will be sold AS IS. It runs and drives but need what I mentioned before anyone beats on it or goes WOT. I can do test drives, I would prefer to be the driver, but if that is the deal breaker, I’m sure we can figure something out. I’m not sure how much money I have put into the car, but between the turbo, cage, seats, engine machine work is over $5000.
Pictures coming later tonight with a video. I will show the initial startup after not touching the car in 3 months.

Video... First start in 3 months. Dont mind my daughter crying in the backround.

Idling after I pulled it out

Here are some picture that I have on my computer in a few various stages:

I wouldn't say it would be the fastest, but it would definitely be quick. Had I done this over I would have went with a standalone ECM vs the stock computer...

I'd really think about taking this car if I didn't have so many things going on now.

Question, would it be possible to drive it away?

It would be able to be driven away. Would I recommend it? Probably not just because it barely has any miles on it since getting the motor in.
