I need a manual knob in dark tan for my 86 SE. The knob I have for a core is grey. Is that alright? How do I pay and what is approx. delivery time? Can I keep my current knob to use until I receive the new one?

You options are as follows. Yes i can recover that color knob not a problem to what ever color you want.

Your old knob is required as a core. You can ship me the old knob i recover and put it back in the mail typical time for this is 48 - 72 hours turn around. Price is 35.00 plus shipping 6.50. Let me know what color you need.

or

You pay 45.00 plus 6.50 for shipping and i refund the 10.00 core fee if the core is in rebuildable condition.

was wondering does the core have to be a leather knob? or is the plastice non covered ones ok? are they all the same after you remove the leather? if they are the same would you trade a bunch of cores for a recovered one? thanx for your time skoon

skoon if you are talking about manual shifters then yes they are the same but if you are talking about automatics they have to have been covered in leather at one time or have the notch with the little pin under the button on the left hand side of the knob. This notch hold the button in place. I will take for a limited time 4 manual or automatic shift knobs in trade for 1 recovered one. LIMITED TIME.

First off Happy new year,
I have one of these shift knobs on my car that I bought when he was selling the prototypes and I must say it makes a world of difference. Some of you may know from my threads, but I just put an engine in my car after it sitting for almost 6 years so I am thrilled to be just about ready to drive it everyday. I just got it registered and insured, just waiting on a slave cylinder and Ill be on the road again. This shift knob makes my interior so much nicer, I sit in the car everyday and remember that old sticky one that I had before this.

Great work, these are well worth the price.

bump all PM's sent and all orders filled at this time. Bump for the people looking to get this done. Leather prices like everything else is going up. I will try to keep it at this price but it is getting harder. I just got a beechwood done and it cost me more than what the guy paid me to do it. I had the wrong color. Better luck next round.
