For those who have pactched/replaced their frame rails? When cutting out the old ones do I need to brace the engine compartment or will it stay square?
When I did mine I had the motor out, bumper off, lower quarters and just lifted the rear body up to make enough room to work on it while welding, that required the front leading edge to be loosened…. It was up on jack stands to the same level. Did one side at a time. Did not do any extra bracing
