I recently purchased a 1986 SE with the 2.8. After about a day of driving it stalled out, seemed like I ran out of gas. Put gas in it. Went away for a day. Car was driving fine.

Now after about a week, the car will not move in gear. It will start, find idle 950-1000rpm, but when shifted into gear bogs down, and touching the throttle will kill the motor most of the time.
Pulled my SES codes. #33-MAP Sensor.
I replaced my map sensor, and checked vacuum. Seems good.
Could a faulty EGR/TPS/IAC cause this?

unplug the electrical connector at the MAP and test drive the car. This forces the computer to use 'default' settings. If nothing changes, the problem is somewhere else, perhaps the IAC.
