Have never been a fan of the door mounted Fiero mirrors.... are there OEM power mirrors that will mount to the A pillar filler? Saw this and that's kinda what I'm looking for....

THANKS!

One issue you would need to overcome would be opening and closing the doors with the window glass in the up position.

Easy8 posted the above picture. Hoping perhaps if this is HIS Fiero, he will chime in on what they are from and how he was able to mount them.

Examining the picture a bit closer, it looks like perhaps there has been a gusset added to the corner of the door to allow the mirror to be mounted as the face of the mirror base appears to be flush with the face of the door skin. The mirror also kinda looks like the mirrors on my wife's Malibu.... I'll have to look at them tonight when I get home.

whodeanie made some mounts that went in that location and used Celica mirrors. I bought a set of the brackets from him and some Celica mirrors but not mounted them yet all these years later...

I built a kit car (testarossa) that had brackets to extend the front of the door area upwards to mount the mirrors, in the way you describe.

Even though the brackets were heavy duty, the mirrors vibrated at driving speeds, making them nearly unusable.
