While looking for the steel pipe to connect the EGR valve line to (which BTW, was nowhere to be found), I saw these hanging near the firewall. Anyone any idea what these three cables are for?

yup.
2 wire is AC Clutch. others are pressure limit and radiator fan. (fan turn on w/ high pressure.)

That's actually a good pic of all 3. Top to bottom, low pressure cut out switch, high pressure cut out switch, and compressor clutch
