Easy question here. Are 88 brake pads the same as an 88 Pontiac 6000 ? Thought I saw that somewhere , just double checking .

Not such an easy question if you look at the Rock Auto web site..... lots of parts listed for the 6000. Looks like Wagner ZX378 will work on both cars.

The 88 calipers were supposed to be the same as the AWD 6000 STE. (Although Rockauto does not seem to support this.) If that's the case, I would think the pads are the same, too.
The garden variety 6000 is probably the same as a Celebrity. I think.

After doing more research, I believe only the rears are the same. I found some redstuff EBC pads but they have the yellowstuff part #. They also say they're for a Pontiac 6000. I might have to call them for verification.

For 88's front and rear pads are the same. Even Lotus Elan pads fit

What I meant was the Pontiac 6000 rears are the same as 88 fiero front and rear
