I recall an older thread w/ a LS2 and 6 speed, but that guy worked for a company that did custom stuff so its not like we have access to that tech.

Also, for those of you who have the knowledge, feel free to chime in about the issues that prevent us from using the newer 6 spd auto trans.
Reason I ask is that I own a 2017 Pacifica w/ 240hp motor and 8 speed auto trans and i'd love to have that in a daily driver. 1000 lbs less weight that thing would fly.

To use the 6T70 are you must have a PCM that can shift it. Only specific PCM's can be programmed to shift the 6 speed and these PCM's are not used on any of the Fiero swaps. You could try to locate an external transmission controller but I'm not sure if anyone makes one..
