Hey folks!!! Wow I have been away for a while. My 88 iron duke FIero that I have driven a lot the last 8 years finally had the exhaust rot enough to crack off right by the bend after the CAT. Going to get a new system from the Fiero store. Question is...Can I fish that in there without dropping the cradle? I've dropped it before many times, but really don't want to do it again if I don;t have to. Thanks guys! Good to be back.

The exhaust is below the cradle as on 84-87 models is it not?

I don't remember. It's been a long time since I really looked at. It's raining right now. I'm assuming if 84 through 87 goes under and fiero store sells a stock exhaust for 84 to 88 then 88 does the same.

Its not a hard install but first you must determine if the CAT is not clogged (a common problem) If it is you'll need a new CAT to replace it. If you need to retain the stock look for your area (and the case is good), then just hollow out/gut the existing cat with a long lug wrench or tire iron. This saves a lot of money and keeps the bureaucrats happy.
