I recently learned of this Engineered Performance LSD (see threads below)

EP Website (a little old and janky, hopefully not bugged) - http://www.engineered.net/eplsd.htm

Are people still using these EP's? What do you guys think? Are they feasible for street driving? Whose got one?

Jeff still produces them, but of course Intense Racing did nothing but trash everything including themselves with regard to FWD LSD's. Quaife and GM's versions are discontinued and extremely expensive to begin with, so unrealistic in all sense. Gr8grip and Phantom Grips appear to be trash.

I am interested in street/strip with my fiero. I would like to maintain maneuverability but also maintain traction (with ~400whp at most) in a straight line. Should I look more into this or stay the heck away?

Any of those fixed preload friction devices are at best peg-leg burnout preventers. That's all you get out of them.

Fieros have great straight line traction to begin with, so an LSD doesn't help much in a straight line, if at all.
