Mine is gone now but when I was building mine, I never got a clear answer if anybody had gotten the 4.9 system to work.

No reason that the 4.9L can't be connected to the Fiero A/C system. You will just need a new hose. All the A/C compressor hose connectors are available online to mate the compressor to the manifold on the firewall. On the firewall side you just use the old Fiero connector with new O rings. My setup will use the Cadillac A/C compressor but as such a high pressure switch must be added on the high side line. Without the switch the system can build excessive pressures as in the Fiero Factory install, many of which failed.

If you want to use the Fiero's compressor, you have to change the clutch assembly out so that it can run the serpentine 4.9l belt.
