It's about time to change the dew strips on the 88 GT windows. So, while looking, I noticed when the passenger side window is all the way up there's a significant gap between the glass and the dew wipe across most of the door. When the glass is about half way up it's pressed against all the width of the dew wipe. Normal? I hope not. Lot of water must be getting in during the winter and hard rains.

Local body shop installed a new window motor in the passenger door a few years ago. Suspicious.

Hard to fix?

It's not normal on my car, but I wouldn't know how to fix it.

Window Up there in no gap.
1/2 to full Down the outside strip doesn't touch. Exact point doesn't touch can vary car to car.
