How is boost (manifold pressure) regulated on a 3800SC series II engine? Does the stock OBDII ECM adjust fuel mixture & timing to prevent pre detonation @ positive manifold pressure?

Boost is basically preconfigured by the pulley size and engine rpm.
The PCM takes care of the other parameters.
