Anyone know where i can get the plastic piece that goes inside the steering rack on the passenger side? Ive been dealing with a right side issue, Wheel has movement and 3 and 9 oclock def some play in pas inner tie rod, but before i replace that tie rod id like to put a new plastic piece located inside the rack, in case its the real reason for the play in it.

Not sure what you mean. If there is play in the rack most often it's the bushing at the passenger side end. That bushing is metal on the 84-87 Fieros and plastic on the 88's. Rodney Dickman sells a very nice replacement part.
As for the damper that is similar to a shock absorber that sits along the rack and only used 84-87.

Some racks had a plastic bushing in the steering rack.

Rodney Dickman has bronze replacements.
One for 84-87 and the one needed for 88 models.

Bushing is easy to replace but removal and complete disassembly of the rack is necessary. Just be careful indexing the rack precisely (per the manual) upon reassembly... or your steering wheel will sit out of center position.
