just purchased a fiero store fuel sending unit, it looks great. my question is this, i am using a fuel pump that does not match the plug on sending unit, my pump is marked on top, + and -, but which wire on the sending unit is positive and which is negative? one is grey, and one is black, the obvious would be that black is negative, but i just want to know if anyone else has done this? thanks!

I doubled checked the plug conections before i hooked it up, it king straight forward just take your old sending unit an find the hot wire, look at ur old ac pump , it should have a
+ marked on it. aleast mine did so i was happy then . I hope yours is the same way. if all else call the fiero store an ask for a tech helper, ther really great at that

Low temp switch that turns the radiator fan on when engine gets hot
Did not have a wire going to it or the connector I would Purchase a new wire connector
That looks like it has about a 12 inch White wire lead but I have no idea where that would go
Or what color wire it would connect to
I have been using the A/C switch on the dash to force the fan on when needed
And this is getting to be a pain

You should probably start a NEW thread regarding Fan Switch problem
since this one is about the Fuel Gauge sending unit.

Include year/engine/transmission - we are not psychic
People will then be able to jump in with help...

But the radiator fan temp. switch wire is DarkGreen with White stripe.
