Gave the wife two sets of door hinge pin/bushing sets for Christmas. I would like to replace them in the near future and just want to know if there is a "secret recipe", special sequence of events or handy tips that make the job as easy and painless as it can be. Really hoping the doors don't have to come completely off; that would be the best news of all... Thanks in advance - Chris

I took the time to make a cradle, about 2 feet long that fit the contour of the bottom of the door. The cradle fit on top of the floor jack and with the wife to balance the door the pins were easy to replace.

I have a door hinge pin remover that I got from Summit that looks like this one "CM5240 Door Hing Pin Tool":
https://www.toolsid.com/cta...iEAYYAiABEgL1h_D_BwE

Popped the pins out, replaced the brass bushings (and added a thin plastic washer), and popped the new pins in place. It was totally worth the $15 investment for me.
