Is there a known reason for emergency flashers to turn on, but not flash? The indicators in the instrument cluster just stay on, but nothing happens.
Info or help would be appreciated.

Thnx,

It could be a dead flasher. It uses the same part number as the turn signals, but is located under the passenger dash on the convenience center.

Dead flasher, bad bulb(s) or have ground problems.
OE flash can needs right # of bulbs to work right to flash.

Don, I have about a half dozen of them. Swap places with yours to see if the problem moves with the flasher.

Thanks Ogre, thanks Charlie,

Bulbs were OK, swapped, turns out it is the flasher switch.

So Charlie, can you send me one of your spares?
LMK how much + shipping

Cheers,

Have to test before using spares or can cause problems...
Thermal Hazard and Turn cans as Fiero and Millions of others have different load requirements to work right meaning Fiero Hazard works w/ ~ 7 bulbs but Turn only wants 3 − 4 bulbs. (Each Bulb = ~ 2.1 amps plus minor bulbs for front side marker and dash lamps.)
I have old factory spares but won't in Fiero because have different specs.

Likely can get a better electronic/electro-mechanical flashers at local part stores or amazon. (EU parts stores should have or order them because many cars there have the same flasher cans.)
See my Cave, Lighbulbs and
http://www.novitatech.com/?q=aftermarket/products (Tridon is now own by Osram Sylvania and change names in many markets.)

Do Not use Turn Flasher can clip! Factory Mounting Clip will ruin the plastic case and short out the circuit. Made to hold metal cases not plastic and shape ears will crush them.
Hazard doesn't use a clip.

HD12 EF12 LL552 LF12 fits Fiero (12v 2 pin) w/o problems. Other may work but check Quick ref etc.
LL552 barely work for Fiero hazard. Only rated 1-6 bulb loads. The rest are all 1-10 bulb loads.
