Am I correct in that a" fuel pump" for a 1985 2.5, and a 1985 2.8 Fuel pump are Different ?? I am seeing many Ads that say the same pump fits Both ! I need to know the truth of the matter Before I order one. Thanks

Max PSI for the 4 cylinder (2.5) pump is 15 lbs. The V6 (2.8) pump is about 40 lbs..

Ebay etc vendors are lairs claim this.
4 cyl engine can have problems w/ 6 cyl pumps because can slam regulator wide open and still be too high pressure.
4cyl are regulated to 9-13psi and less gas flow needed vs 6 or 8 high pressure systems.

If you buy them then must check system pressure at minimum.
