Hi Everyone,

My friend is trying to reattach the lower trim for his 85 fiero GT. There are two types of nuts that lock down the trim which we are trying to find the proper names and replacements for - we found one, but the other puzzles us:

1) fender side moulding nuts - found on fierostore

2) is a washer looking nut - no tools needed just pressure with hands over the extruding clip - star opening.

Does anyone have the proper name and source where I can purchase these? #2 specifically

Thanks

Marcus

Based on your description, I believe your #2 item is a "push nut". Google "push nut" and see if that is what you need. If yes, they are ubiquitous.

AuVeCo.com or ClipsAndFasteners.Com is where I've found them in the past but you usually have to buy them in quantities. Maybe even at Fastenal.com

The Fiero Store kit is good because it contains both sizes needed.

Can get many types @ many auto parts stores thru Dorman hardware.
just go and look at the racks.
TFS and others may have them but price isn't much better + shipping.
