Been on this forum and been helped by many here. Here is a little video with a little history and what I feel is the best all around engine upgrade for this fabulous little car.

Bumping this as it is winter and someone might need a little extra motivation to gather the parts to make a beast out of their Fiero this winter.

Posting this back up hoping in may motivate a newcomer to start a swap like this. Use the info on this forum and it will be a job you can handle if you are fairly automotive minded!

Confused here: first video sounds like he claims '380 horsepower' whereas Wikipedia cites Series III 'up to 260 hp (194 kW) in the Grand Prix GTP.' What am I missing here?

re: installers in Southern California, are you aware that the smog-legal route is only with the automatic transmission?

As his signature says "84/87 NB, 3800SC, E-85, VS Cam, 2.8 Pulley, 4T65E-HD, HP Tuners, AEM Wideband, Regal GS Gauges, S-10 Brake Booster. 1/4 mile -11.85 at 114mph"

Cam, E-85, 2.8 pulley and tuned can make quite a bit more power than stock.
