Is there a difference between the iron block/head 3.1 vs 2.8 Lower intake gasket?
I've combed thru the archives and it seems like no difference.. Now I'm talking the iron head not the aluminum head 3.1 here.
Now, that being said , I discovered after the fact of install, I am indeed seeing a gasket difference between the 2.8/3.1 gasket.. A partial blocked port, but not sealed on the 3.1 gasket..it's a small hole, vs the open square port hole of the 2.8... I'd love to post pics, but, Android here... Grr...
This 3.1 starts easily and instantly, then falls flat on its face and dies out...
Could this one port possibly be the issue? I'll be happy to email pics and have someone post them if they are gracious enough..
