I was digging around on the internet and found a reference to an F40 transmission used in some Chevy Cruze/diesel applications, and the use of the F32-6 speed with the 1.6l Ecotec. Anyone have thoughts on these?
The F40 is used with the Ecotec in many applications. Probably cheaper to find one in a wrecked Saab, than from a Cruze diesel.
The M32 is the trans used with the 1.4l turbo and 1.8l engines in the Cruze/Sonic/Spark and similar. The one from the Cruze Eco has the best 6th gear though, especially if you're going to use it with an engine that makes a bit more low end torque.
