Found some Mustang ? scoops for rear quarter panels. Question..want to " vent" or open up the passenger side quarter panel with a scoop for more air into engine. Without taking off the panel. can I drill a pilot hole and enlarge the hole for an air intake under the scoop. Need advise before I screw up.

Here is a pic of that area. This is my car and the cold air intake I added. The scoop needs to be closer to the wheel well otherwise you will hit structure. You may want to remove the inner wheel liner for better access.
