I have finally been able to install my Monsoon Head Unit.
I purchased the adapter harness with the stereo.

Problem: No sound on the passengers side.
Testing: Pulled the radio out, tested the harness for continuity and all good. Put the factory unit back in and it all works great again. Yes I tried the balance knob lol.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

Kind of sounds like a defective radio to me, unless the adapter harness is just wired wrong.
If the old radio works correctly, it proves that the speakers and car wiring are good.

try connecting the radio to speakers out side, not installing it in the dash, if you cut any wires during the install it may just be a bad connection. with the radio out of the dash but connected to power and ground connect just one speaker at a time to that one speaker. that way you can be sure it is not the connections.

I have picked up a Monsoon with EQ. It came with the harness. No cutting was done to the factory harness. Just a plug and play into the factory.

I'd say it's the radio that likely has the problem.
I know they tested before shipping, but things can happen.

Yes Tony I did. It turns out the Stereo itself is the issue.
