As I found in several archived threads. Soft brake Pedal. If those of you who have an automatic or you do not have or do not use the parking brake, you need to adjust the rears. Search for "Soft Brake Pedal" by Synthesis. Skitime and Denny elaborated on the simple procedure. The brakes on my car always seemed a little soft so I would bleed them once in a while. I assumed the PO had adjusted the rear 88 brakes when he installed them and the cradle. Just a week or so ago I installed a reman rear caliper and didn't even think to do the procedure. DOH! Then I read the archived post and duh! My first Fiero was an 88 manual so I was always adjusting the parking brake as we have a very steep driveway. But did I remember that? No.
Wow what a difference!
