Yesterday I noticed that there is a cable with some sort of connectors (I assume it is part of the parking brake system) that is hanging like a clothesline behind the exhaust tips. I have not had a chance to back the car up on my ramps and take a look.

If this is a brake cable, perhaps it is supposed to be attached to the undercarriage and somehow got loose? Or perhaps it has stretched out? Or perhaps it can be adjusted? Any information from anyone who has had this experience would be appreciated.

Thanks

It is the parking brake cable, and it can be adjusted, yes. There should also be a couple retainers to hold it up next to the cradle for the most part as well.
