3800sc swap. temp gauge pegs to right, now stuck, i can open bezel and move back, but how do i keep this from happening again? also, speedo quit working, needle doesnt move, but trip odometer works, any ideas? thanks

do i swap wires around like it says in some of the threads? will that work with the 3800 conversion?

Easy fix to temp gage - ignition switch on top of column.
One terminal has two light green wires.
Cut the wires and connect them together and insulate.
This will eliminate the pegging at key ON/BULB TEST/START
Insulate the cut wires from the switch to prevent shorts.

Did you use the 88 Fiero oil pressure sensor? You have to. Also make sure you don't bend the pins when installing the connector. I did and it was pegged.
