I have a 3.4 with a 7730. It runs great except if I have to disconnect the battery. Like last week, I had to disconnect it to replace the alternator. After that when coming to a stop the idle drops and the car dies. The only fix seems to be messing with idle screw and letting idle in the driveway for like a half an hour. I know I shouldn't mess with the idle screw but it seemed to be the only thing to fix the problem. I am assuming it is re learning the idle? Is there any way to fix this permanently?
