You need to use the one that matches your engine/transmission/PCM.

The 3800 transmission switch has additional contacts in it to tell the PCM what gear the transmission is in.

The Fiero switch does not have that. Plus the Fiero switch was designed for 3 forward gear selections. The 4T65E has 4.

You must use the 3800 switch.

On my 06 3800SC series III swap I used the Grand Prix 03 neutral safety switch and the 03 PCM. I recall that the later 4T65eHD transmissions though have the selector switch internal to the transmissions but not the neutral safety.
